ABOUT COACH ASHLEY

Ashley McDonough is an ordained Christian Ministry Coach, Faith Officiant, former collegiate volleyball coach, and nonprofit leader. For more than twenty years, her work has centered on leadership, identity, and helping individuals perform with resilience and integrity in high-pressure environments.

She currently serves as a Volleyball Recruiting Coach with NCSA, mentoring student-athletes and families through the collegiate recruiting process. She spent thirteen years coaching at the collegiate level and had the privilege of serving in a logistics role with Team USA Volleyball in 2019 and 2021, supporting elite athletes on the international stage.

Her leadership journey includes founding Helping Houston’s Homeless, serving as Development Director for Asians Against Domestic Abuse, and holding key roles with Bay Area Turning Point such as Education and Events Coordinator and Violence Prevention Specialist. She has also served on boards as Treasurer for the Bay Area Alliance for Youth and Families and as a representative for advocacy initiatives through the United Way Speakers Bureau.

She launched this platform in 2023 as an extension of her calling to develop principled leaders. Since then, she has published more than 130 articles and has been featured on multiple podcasts and publications, including the February 2026 cover of iBelieve Sports. She holds a BS in Criminology, an MBA, and a Graduate Certificate in Christian Ministry, and is the author of Saved to Serve—Called to Lead.

Through speaking, writing, recruiting, and ministry coaching, her mission is clear: to help leaders steward their influence well, strengthen their identity in Christ, and lead with clarity, courage, and conviction.
